Neha Raj Singh
Neha is a graduate student in Human Rights and Social Justice program at Thompson Rivers University. Her educational background includes a postgraduate diploma in Environment and Development and an undergraduate science degree in Zoology (Honours). With 12 years of grassroots experience in the Global South, she has worked with small farmers on promoting biodiversity-based food systems for seed and food sovereignty and climate justice.
Her primary focus was on working with local women leaders and farmers on food security, knowledge co-creation and community building. Inspired by lived experiences, her current research focuses on the relational role food plays with land, building community and supporting resilient futures.
